Money problems top 2009 concerns

A recent survey conducted by Samaritans indicates that 48% of the UK population has worried about their money problems and debt in 2009.

Almost a quarter of people surveyed described this year as either "a bad year" or "their worst year ever". Fears over job security and workplace stress caused anxiety in 24% of those questioned.

Samaritans urges people to not let their worries spiral out of control, and to seek support for emotional distress. If you are worried about the state of your finances, call us now on 0800 096 4409 for free, no-obligation debt advice.
