We are currently recruiting for the following positions:


JOB VACANCY: Credit Controller

Reporting to: Credit Control

This is a great opportunity to become part of the team at Kensington Financial. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for an allocation of clients who’s payments are overdue

Duties:

  • To chase overdue customers by telephone / sms / letter
  • To effectively manage your own workload
  • To maximise collection of payment
  • To achieve or exceed a collection rate as set out by company targets
  • To deal with inbound customer calls and to respond to customer queries
  • To arranged repayment plans with customers in arrears
  • To identify customers payments that have been included on the unallocated payments list
  • To liase with customer services where necessary
  • To identify cases where clients may be able to do an IVA / FFS / remortgage / secured loan
  • To answer general inbound calls and direct them to the correct department
  • To achieve maximum scores on kpi’s

Skills and Experience:

  • Have a pleasant, friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to empathise with clients
  • Team player and willing to provide additional support to the Credit Control Team Leader
  • Concise and efficient in the delivery of all verbal and written communication
  • Prior experience within the debt management industry desirable
  • Prior Credit Control experience desirable
  • Organizational skills
  • Be able to work to targets and meet deadlines

JOB VACANCY: DEBT ADVISORS

Reporting to: Sales Manager

This is a great opportunity to become part of the team at Kensington Financial. As a Sales Advisor you will be responsible for dealing with enquiries from the public in response to our advertising, advising them on the best solution to their financial situation.

Duties:

  • To take details from the client regarding their current credit commitments, income and expenditure;
  • To suggest the best solution to the client based on the information taken;
  • To explain the process of debt management and agree a suitable repayment level based upon the information taken;
  • To agree a payment date with the customer and ensure a full understanding of the programme;
  • To follow up with client any further queries once information is received and to ensure this is returned to us in readiness for the programme to commence as agreed;
  • To deal with our customers in a friendly and professional manner and in line with the Company's standards and procedures.

Skills and Experience:

  • Call centre experience or training in dealing with customers over the phone;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in a sympathetic manner;
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively in a changing environment;
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic, target driven, and an ability to work as part of a team with a flexible but organised approach to completing tasks;

JOB VACANCY: CLIENT LIAISON OFFICERS

Kensington Financial Management Ltd is a progressive and fast expanding company in the Financial Management industry that is actively looking to recruit self motivated, enthusiastic individuals to enhance our dynamic Client Liaison Team.

The Financial Management industry offers a life line to consumers in financial difficulties who are seeking to consolidate their finances but have no mean of raising credit (i.e. poor credit rating, no assets to raise secured finance). A thriving industry that has been cited as ‘the fastest’ growing in the UK financial services arena.

The Role:
As an integral part of the Client Liaison Team you will maintain client’s debt management accounts from the first introduction call to completion of the account. Building client relationships to ensure that they feel understood and reassured that there is always someone to help in their time of financial difficulties. You will design and negotiate financial proposals with creditors based on your client’s circumstances.

Duties:

  • Build and maintain client relationships by way of pro-active communication, both written and verbal.
  • To effectively act upon creditor information received in relation to client accounts.
  • To negotiate reduced settlement figures with creditors that are acceptable to your client.
  • Credit Control - To ensure client accounts are kept up to date with their monthly payments, in order for financial proposals to be effectively executed.

The Person:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Team player and willing to provide additional support to the department.
  • Concise and efficient in the delivery of all verbal and written communication.

Previous experience of working within a financial services organisation and/or a customer service environment would be desirable.

Hours:

Weekly rota
8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday
10am – 6.30pm Monday - Friday
12noon – 8.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday OFF FRIDAY and 9am – 2pm Saturday
